Home Remedies for Genital Wart Treatment

    Vitamin E

    • Apply 800 IU (International Units) of vitamin E oil directly onto the warts every day (use a pin to pop open a vitamin E capsule). Top this with crushed garlic cloves. Use a bandage to tape the garlic to the wart. The warts will gradually begin to reduce in size and will fall off within a week. You can also use pineapples in place of the garlic, but be sure to massage enough vitamin E into the area.

    Milkweed

    • Milkweed is a plant that can be found in many parts of North America. To apply milkweed to genital warts, cut a leaf or stem off of the plant and massage the milky sap directly on the warts a few times per day. Milkweed will eliminate the warts rather quickly, but is safe and non-irritating for surrounding areas of skin. Milkweed contains special enzymes that will help to soften the warts and inhibit the virus.

    Willow

    • Bark from a willow tree contains salicylic acid, which will destroy the wart (salicylic acid is FDA-approved for this purpose). This acid is also found in several over-the-counter creams for warts, bunions and corns. Moisten a piece of inner bark from the willow tree and tape it directly onto the wart. You can scrape the bark to make it more pliable for the genital area. Leave the bark on and change it once a day for five to seven days. This will dry up the warts and cause them to fall off.
