Develop A Positive Personality With Those 7 Simple Keys.

Who would you rather spend your time with, a jerk or an energetic, passionate optimist who just makes you smile simply by seeing them?

That is the difference that a great personality can make, people with a positive personality enjoy their lives a lot more, they seem to draw people to themselves and just seem to get anything they want simply by asking for it.

If you don't have a positive personality, what you do have is a challenge. Why? Because you'll attract more and more negative people into your life, which will make matters even worse. Positive people, on the other hand, will want nothing to do with somebody who just drains their energy. So, what can you do?

At one point in my life I decided that I was sick and tired of my negative attitude and decided to develop a positive personality. That's it! Period! I wanted to enjoy my life and I saw that the people that did, were simply positive. Here are 7 simple keys that will help you develop Your positive personality in a blink of an eye.

#1: Positive Self Talk
Every great thinker that history has ever known has said basically the same thing: you are you think about most of the time. At first it may be difficult to practice deliberate thinking if you haven't done it for a while. Whatever, there's a way to overcome that challenge. You can, just like I did and continue doing till this day, simply talk to yourself. What we say aloud is simply thoughts verbalized. In this way you can begin to re-program your mind and establish new habits of thought that will lead to a positive personality.

#2: Positive Visualization
Very often when criminals leave prison, the guards tell them €Ah, you'll be back€, to which they reply €Don't you worry.€ And soon they are back because they see themselves as criminals.

What if you could start seeing yourself as a positive person? What if you could close your eyes and imagine yourself having great conversations, making people smile in your presence, being just the most loving, kindest person possible?

It's also a great idea to visualize your goals as accomplished. When you have something exciting that you can look forward to, your mental attitude will improve dramatically and signs of a positive personality will begin to show.

#3: Positive People
Jim Rohn said that you are the average of the 5 people you spend most time with. Negative friends ==>> negative you. Positive friends ==>> positive you. It's because we, as human beings, have a need for connection and love, therefore we adapt to the people we surround ourselves with. I didn't have those positive people in my life, that's why I started reading autobiographies of great leaders, personal development books, listening to audio. In fact, when you are listening to an audio tape, your brain can't tell the difference between it being a real person or just a recording.

#4: Positive Mental Food
It comes back to what I just mentioned. Bottom line, you are what you eat. We all know that. Wouldn't it make sense that your brain needs food as well? PCs and laptops run on electricity and you've got the most powerful computer in the world in your head. It runs on positive books, audio programs, inspirational videos, quotes by great thinkers like Brian Tracy and Jim Rohn. And since you are what you eat, a positive brain and a positive personality are INEVITABLE. Period.

#5: Positive Training And Development
Do you know what happens when people retire?... They die. To have a positive personality, we need to feel good about ourselves and to do that we can't be standing still, we MUST constantly grow and expand. No matter what I do, I will always be a student of personal development. I see it as a fertilizer for the soil of my mind, from which the seeds of greatness will grow.

#6: Positive Health Habits
We all need a healthy body because if we don't have it, there's another negative thing that will absorb a huge part of our focus. When we feel sick, a million dollars won't matter. But with a healthy body, boy!, now we can enjoy that million and all other great things in our life to the fullest. A healthy body comes from positive habits: regular exercise, good nutrition, plenty of water and proper breathing. And with a healthy body, a positive personality is not far away!

#7: Positive Expectations
I've learned from my life experience that most of the time, you get what you expect from yourself. If I expected to have a great workout, I was strong and excited. When I didn't, every weight seemed heavier. How do you feel when you expect bad things to happen? How do you feel when you expect good things to happen? Just expect that which feels better and with improved feeling, you'll enjoy a positive personality, which you will draw to you the good that you desire.

Now that you know how to develop a positive personality, it's time to use it. We need both personality and action. However, I am certain that with the right personality and attitude, anything is possible.

To your success,
