As if it wasn't difficult enough to choose your race now you have to pick what specialization you want your character to have throughout the game.
Choosing your class is not as straight forward as you may think.
After all this is the class you will have for as long as you play World of Warcraft with that character.
So, choosing wisely is a must! Before you even begin to play you should decide if you plan to play the game as a solo character or if you wish to join forces with other players, groups, guilds etc.
Although World of Warcraft is designed so that you must interact with other players it can be played as a solo player if you feel that interacting with others is not your style (or of you are just a little anti-social).
As part of a group every type of class is important as they play very different roles in the group.
For instance a warrior class character will act as the protector of the group whereas a Mage class character can instantly teleport the entire group to different parts of Azeroth instantly (a handy skill when you are losing in PvP)! Choosing your class will depend on the type of game you want to play as well.
Perhaps you are the type of person who would enjoy casting spells or maybe you would rather rely on brute strength or the ability to tame wild animal to act as your tank.
Before jumping in and choosing a class I would advise you to take stock of all the attributes that each class has and think about how that will affect your game play.
