Gestational diabetes is a health condition among pregnant women when the blood glucose levels are too high.
In this type of diabetes the risk is not only on the mother but also on the unborn baby.
It is very important to have a gestational diabetes diet plan.
The food's carbohydrates break down into glucose in your body.
Glucose, a major energy source, comes from foods such as breads, pasta, potatoes, rice, and other grains.
It can also be digested from fruits, dairy foods, vegetables, sugar and sweets.
When pregnant, eating the right amount of carbohydrates, protein, and fat is very important.
