How to Remove Wipers

    • 1). Lift both of the wiper arms. Most will naturally lock into place and remain upright. If yours do not stay upright, hold them up, one at a time, while you work on them.

    • 2). Look for a tab at the connector between the removable wiper blade and the arm.

    • 3). Press the tab in with a finger. Some types of wiper arms require the tab to be pulled out instead of pushed in. You can use a screwdriver to do this. Experiment with depressing and lifting the tab up to find which method works for your wiper arms.

    • 4). Slide the blade out once the tab is released. With some types of arms, you may need to use a sideways motion. Experiment to determine what will work for your arms.
