Hi I'm Chase Thompson-Baugh with simplymac.com. We're a Utah based company with eight stores in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Today I'm going to show you some quick tips about using the iPad and I know you're going to love them. So now we're going to talk to you a little bit about how to keep your game progress on Angry Birds if you have to restore your iPad back to factory settings. So now I'm going to show you how you can save your angry birds progress if you need to restore the iPad. You can see here if I tap on play I've already got a couple of these already done. But I don't want to have to re-do them if I restore my iPad. So this is what you're going to do. Apple has a free thing that we call iCloud. So if you go to your home screen and you tap on settings, as soon as settings come up we're going to tap on mail, contacts and calendars. Here in mail, contacts, and calendars we're going to set up what's called an iCloud account. If you already have this set up, that's great. For those who don't you're going to tap add account, tap iCloud and here in iCloud you're going to go ahead and put in either an Apple ID and password, if you've already created one through iTunes, or you can get a free Apple ID. If you tap on free it's going to ask you some questions, go ahead and fill that entirely out. And when you're done you can go ahead and come here to mail, contacts, and calendars again and you'll see iCloud. We're going to tap on iCloud and you'll see here there's storage and backup. So if I tap on storage and backup you can see that my iPad is set to do an iCloud backup. Now this will back up periodically while your computer's connected to the Internet. You'll never even notice that it happened. So if you need to restore your iPad back to factory settings, when you come back to the iPad it's going to ask you if you have an iCloud account. You say yes and it will restore all of your data so that way if your iPad's wiped you can still come back and play angry birds anytime you want. Again I'm Chase Thompson-Baugh with simplymac.com and we've just talked to you about how to keep your game progress on your iPad.
