Poultry and eggs can be officially inspected and graded for a service fee in the AMS's Quality Systems Verification Programs (QSVP). The Grading Branch of the AMS offers auditing services for this purpose. All auditors are independent third-party personnel but are qualified through the Grading Branch.
Fruits and Vegetables

Fresh fruits and vegetables can be approved through the Qualified Through Verification program (QTV). The QTV is voluntary, and it ensures that producers with the QTV label have wholesome and safe manufacturing and distribution processes. Producers must apply for the program and will undergo on-site audits from USDA professionals. The AMS also provides inspectors to grade both fresh and processed fruits and vegetables.
Livestock and Seed

Livestock and seed producers can be certified under the USDA Process Verified Program. This label assures customers of a producer's ability to provide consistent quality products or services. As a producer, you can request USDA audits which will test product quality and the manufacturing and distribution process.
- There are several other agricultural products that can receive USDA grades and verifications through USDA auditing. They include cotton, dairy, nuts, tobacco and other specialty crops.
