How to Calibrate the Hanna Champ pH Meter

    • 1). Place the Hanna Champ pH meter in a buffer solution. Hanna recommends a solution with a pH of 7.01 for proper calibration.

    • 2). Let the reading stabilize while the pH meter is immersed.

    • 3). Adjust the calibration trimmer using the screwdriver that came with the unit. Each small turn of the screw, in either direction, adjusts the reading up or down in small amounts. The calibration trimmer is located just below the digital display, on the side of the Hanna unit.

    • 4). Remove the pH meter from the solution when a reading of 7.0 has been achieved.
