Tips For Finding a Wii

If you're having problems finding a Wii then don't give up hope just yet.
Here's some tips to make your search more fruitful: 1.
If you really want to get a Wii as fast as possible, and are willing to pay a little more, just search for "Wii Bundle".
You will have to pay a little more, since the bundles include extra games and often extra controllers, but Wii bundles are a lot easier to find online than Wiis.
Plus, the games that they include are usually pretty good (not some cruddy games that they're trying to unload on desperate people).
2.
In terms of buying online: a.
eBay - buy from trusted sellers with a good feedback rating.
When buying through eBay use PayPal, which offers some buyer protection for your transaction.
Powersellers on eBay have had hundreds of transactions, and are often trusted people to buy from.
Also, make sure to ask if the system is new in the box, and includes all the parts and accessories.
Buy from someone with a "cash-back" return policy.
b.
Craigslist - Craigslist is a really good place to find Wiis and Wii Fits.
I've found some bargains on there.
The only problem being that you have to check it quite often, because if a good deal comes out then it will get snatched up quickly.
c.
Amazon.
com - Amazon offers a really good auction service.
If you're willing to pay extra (like 40-50 dollars) you can get your hands on a Wii or a Wii Fit right now.
As of the last time I checked, there were about 120 people selling Wiis and about 50 people selling their Wii Fits.
d.
WiiTracker.
com - This site will tell you when Wiis become available and what site they're selling them on.
Excellent site.
And they offer tracking services for other hot Christmas items.
But once an item becomes posted on this site, it sells really quickly.
So you have that same problem as Craigslist, where you have to check quite a bit.
3.
Ignore the bigger retailers, like Best Buy and Walmart, and try some of the smaller family owned games stores.
Microplay and Electronics Boutique (EB games) often have Wiis and Wii fits when some of the bigger stores don't have them in stock.
4.
Get to know the staff.
They'll often tell you exactly when the next shipment will be coming in.
Oftentimes it will be some random time, like a Wednesday morning, so you might have to call in a sick day.
