How to Fix the Virus W32

    Unregister DLLs

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "cmd" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter" to start the command line window.

    • 2). Type "regsvr32 /u windivx.dll" in the command line window and hit "Enter" to unregister the DLL.

    • 3). Repeat Step 2 for "stream32a.dll," "vipextqtr.dll" and "ecxwp.dll."

    • 4). Close the command line window.

    Remove Registry Entries

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "regedit" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter" to start the Registry Editor.

    • 2). Click the "Edit" menu option in the Registry Editor's window. Select "Find," type the following string in the search field and hit "Enter."

      Delete the found registry entry.

    • 3). Repeat Step 2 for the following registry entries:

    • 4). Close the Registry Editor.

    Delete Files

    • 1). Go to the "Start" menu, type "windivx.dll" in the "Start Search" box and hit "Enter." Delete all search results.

    • 2). Repeat Step 1 for "stream32a.dll," "vipextqtr.dll" and "ecxwp.dll."

    • 3). Restart your computer.
