The
Yangtze New World Hotel (Yangzijiang dajiudian) is strategically located
in Shanghai's Hong Qiao international development zone. The Hongqiao
Airport is only 7km from the hotel and can be reached within 10 minutes
by car. The elevated express way in front of the hotel is equally convenient
for getting to the railway station, the city's commercial center, both
about half an hour, and the new Pudong International Airport, about
an hour and a half.
The hotel is located in the same complex as the Shanghai International Exhibition Center and the Shanghai Trade Center. Next door is the Shanghai Mart, the largest commercial trading building in Shanghai.
There are 553 rooms in this four star hotel, room types ranging from standard rooms through to the Yangze suite. All of the rooms are equipped with central air-conditioning, a business desk, a remote control TV with in-house movies, a mini bar, and an IDD telephone.

The selection of restaurants here serve mainly regional Chinese food, the Dynasty Restaurant is particularly good, serving some of the finest Cantonese food in town. The Chaozhou Garden is also popular, with its selection of Chaozhou style seafood.
