Meilihua Group Corporation was founded in 1984 and has gradually grown from a small company to a large one. It covers a total land area of 16,000 square meters, with a construction area of 30,000 square meters. It employs 500 people and has fixed assets of 1.4 billion yuan(RMB).

The Meilihua Hotel is the chief industry of the Meilihua Group. The other subsidiaries are China Iodine-Mineral Water Company, Meilihua Economy and Trade Company, and Real Estate Developing Company. The Meilihua group is especially interested in the entertainment business, new product development and trade.

Meilihua Hotel complex consists of five parts: The Blue Sky restaurant, guest room department, Lihua Ballroom, Gymnasium and Baiyun Shopping Center. It is the only three star Hotel in northwestern Shandong Province.

The guest room department has presidential suites and luxury apartments, as well as standard rooms. The building has various meeting and reception rooms, the largest of which has a capacity of 300. The Chafing Dish Town in the Blue Sky Restaurant is open to the public. Other elegant rooms are available, as well as the luxurious Lihua Hall and Eight Immortals Hall. All these restaurants serve Shandong, Beijing, Sichuan and Guangdong style dishes and famous local dishes. The dining rooms have a total capacity of 800.

Since its opening, the hotel has been well received by guests from both home and abroad. It has earned an excellent reputation for successfully hosting a variety of conferences.

In 1994, the Meilihua Group Company developed and began the manufacture of Chinese iodine-mineral water. Since the water originates 800 meters underground, it is unpolluted and contains iodine naturally. This unique water is pure, sweet and good for the health. It has been so well received in the marketplace that it has become the second most important industry of the Meilihua Company.

At present, the company is still developing. It is looking for a way to combine all advanced-class and mid-class real estate to form a third industry. Meilihua is a company for today's world and the world to come.
