on the ancient scenic spot of Old Diaoyutai. Built over 800 years
during the Jin Dynasty, the location was chosen for its unsurpassed

Spring water flows from the distant Western Hills into
the compound's Yu Yuan Lake and meanders through the pavilions and
villas, linking the former imperial dwelling place with the new villas.
