Elegant Sot Wine is the cream of the Xiangxi nationality’s historic fine wines. From 1978 on, it has been batch processed with "Yunwu" glutinous sorghum and polished glutinous rice. Using only the water from Long, Geng and Shou springs in Zhenwuyi, and adopting mellow yeast and special medical yeast as sachariferous agents, the wine is processed according to a unique, traditional folk technology. It is fermented in cellars for three years before being blended into the finished wine product. |
| This wine is as crystal clear as it is tastefully laid out; its intensity is to the point of saturation, with a pleasant after-taste. It has mellow, fermented tastes and is pleasant to the palate. Famous artist Huang Yongyu designed the rare package--purple-sandy pottery which is tied up at the neck. Mr. Huang also gave it the humorous and novel name of "Sot" wine. Both the bottle and name are fashionable. |

Li Qin, Chairman of Mongkong's "Ya Ma" group company, wrote words to praise sot wine: "Among the great names in Shenzhou, Sot is the most truly great." Sot wine was appointed to the diet within the 13th. |
