Wuliangye Spirits were awarded the Gold Prize
at the Panama International Fair in 1915
In 1994, the Wuliangye Distillery was ranked 120th among China's 500 biggest enterprises, according to the State Bureau of Statistics. It was also ranked No.1 in the beverage industry in Sichuan Province. In 1995, its gross sales and its profit & sales tax were No.1 in China's alcohol industry.
Since Wuliangye Spirits were awarded the Gold Prize at the Panama International Fair in 1915, they have received 31 gold medals in more than 20 international fairs. Wuliangye Spirits have been consecutively designated the "Chinese Famous Liquor" by the State Liquor Evaluation Committee. And Wuliangye attained the rank of famous trade mark in China awarded by the State Bureau of Commercial Administration. In August, 1995, the Wuliangye Distillery was named the "King of Chinese Liquor" by the 15th International Statistic Conference.
