Five straight short lines represent the five major ingredients of Wuliangye Liquor and the two concentric circles represent the full cooperation and unity of purpose of the staff and workforce of Wuliangye. The letter "W" in the center of the emblem is the initial letter, in both English and Chinese, of Wuliangye Liquor.
