Gujing Tribute Liquor

Gujing Tribute Liquor (Gujing Gong Liquor ) has a long and illustrious history. In 196 A.D., Caocao gave Jiuyunchun liquor in tribute to Xian, emperor of the Han Dynasty. For some time, it was a tribute drink for the imperial families of China's dynasties. In 1959, the thousand-year-old Gujing Tribute Liquor saw the light of day once again. In 1963, Gujing Tribute Liquor was approved to take part in the 2nd National Appraisal of Liquor Products. It received very good comments and was appraised as the next to best, due to its unique style, "limpid as crystal, fragrant and refreshing, with prolonged pleasant aftertaste". It entered into the rank of "the Eighth Most Famous Chinese Liquor". Since then, Gujing Tribute Liquor has 4 times in a row been granted the gold prize at the national liquor appraisals, the Gold Cup Prize at the Quality Contest of Alcoholic Beverages held by the Ministry of Light Industry and the medal of National Export Products of
Light Industry. It was the only Chinese famous liquor which won the gold medal at the 13th International Food Fair in Pairs. Gujing Tribute Liquor is praised by all and commonly referred to as "the Peony of Liquor".
