Galleries featuring the life sciences, environmental sciences, brain
science and basic sciences are located on the third floor. To bring visitors* enthusiasm for participation into full play, most of
the items in the museum galleries have been designed as ands-on* exhibits These include
exotic activities with names such as oberman Sphere,* a agnetically-levitated linear motor
vehicle,* a esalination of sea water* demonstration and the *3-D Gobang.* Another exhibit
houses 250 items focusing on China scientific and technological preeminence in the ancient
world. The museum also sponsors or hosts various kinds of contests, demonstrations and multimedia programs.
Li said more than 2,000 people per day * more on weekends * have been
taking advantage of the opportunity to view the exhibits in their fantastic new venue. |
