LaoMa Sees The Month Ahead

Let the Good Times Roll

Student Zhang Daxian, an Ecuadorean studying Chinese at Beijing University, won last month's Prize Moon Contest and elected to cruise Shichahai with two of his friends and of course the handsome Beijing This Month editorial team.

A good time was had by all, so good in fact our expert office of professional writers, editors and freeloaders forgot to write down Zhang's Spanish name or telephone number.

Thanks to all those good-humored/foolish enough to enter. Once again, we were amazed by the response. We are planning more silly competitions in the future. First we have to figure out where to find some decent prizes.

Your suggestions welcome. Call 6715-2373/4 and ask for the "Chief Competitions Executive Director." Then after that, ask to speak to Li Mingxia, Feng Yuan or Andy McEwen.
