1999 Beijing Stratus Cup Spring Race

The annual Beijing Spring Race takes place this month. Those interested should check the following information.

1. Time: 9:00am, Sunday, March 28.

2. Venue & Course

Starting point: North Gate of Workers -- Stadium. Runners go south to Landao, turn right along Chaoyangmenwai Dajie, then right onto the East Second Ring Road, right at Dongzhimen, follow Dongzhimenwai Dajie to Xindong Lu, then turn south and circle the stadium to return to the north gate.

3. Groups & Distances:

A. Junior 5K Group  -- Boys & Girls of 8-15

B. Senior 5K Group  -- Men of 56-80 & Women of 51-75

C. 10K Open Group  -- Men of 16-55 & Women of 16-50

D. 10K International Group  -- Expatriates in Beijing & Visiting Runners.

4. Registration Fee:

RMB 50 for the international group (includes T-shirt, badge & certificate).

6. Vehicles & Spectators:

Vehicles enter the stadium at the west gate; parking permits are available on request. Spectators will sit near the VIP stand.
